There will be few rogues sitting in the front office for assigning rooms or food token. If those rogues aren't there , it's an amazing place, food is tasty .Giving 1 star because management doesn't care about the ill behaviours those culprits are causing to normal people. They wear white(a man in white with his most bad behaviour mostly sitting in front office for giving food tokens) or saffron or sometimes no uniform but they will scold people very badly. No one says anything against them because we are inside their premises, but it doesn't make sense, why don't you shut down this temple if you don't think we are humans? I understand people in Tripura are lacking basic etiquette , so maybe they understand scolding language but again if this place wasn't having temples around, educated people like me wouldn't prefer to stay there. My mother was fasting and she asked this man who was in white uniform in front office (the worst behaved person among all the rogues) if she can get a 100rs meal pass because we can't eat outside ( day before ekadashi when onion etc shouldn't be eaten) , the man just scolded her for asking meal pass because he was writing something, why are you sitting in the front office with such short temper skill? The result was we couldn't eat that night, we were so irritated with his behaviour that we decided to start fasting before day of ekadashi. So we basically fasted for almost 2 days, I am young and I have energy but my mother is old and seeing her felt weak broke my heart. The problem with the older people they like temples over 5 star hotels. Food is good and all other things are just perfect but getting the food token is real challenge , who can talk to...

Read moreA temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Balbhadra and Subhadra, the marvellous temple was built by Maharaja of Tripura in the 19th century. The temple was one of the most beautiful and peaceful ones I’ve seen. Visiting the temple in the evening was an added advantage as the golden, warm rays of sun on the temple architecture makes it look like one is viewing a rich structure made of gold. The idols look lively and are amazingly and beautifully dressed. The architectural style of the main entrance gate and the temple is awesome. Different stages of Lord Krishna’s life have been displayed in the form of idols. There is a small lake inside the temple which is full of fishes. Visitors feed them with puffed rice and enjoy the view. It is also worth mentioning here that the temple provides rooms and Prasad also for the visitors at a very affordable price. In a big hall inside, a katha was being narrated by a group of saints. It is said that annual Rath Yatra is a famous event where thousands of devotees take part and perform the rituals. In this age of stress and loneliness this is the place where one can find peace and tranquility. Must visit...
