Grill Nation — Restaurant in Tripura

It was the day after Dashami and there wasn't much happening around the town, small clubs were the only ones doing the Durga Visarjan while the big ones were busy preparing for the Carnival of Durga Visarjan. At that moment a good number of food joints as well as restaurants were closing away due to less sales. It was at the moment we decided to go to this place. After entering the premises we took a table at the corner. Then we saw that at the table the menu wasn't even updated and the waiter wasn't even coming to take our order. So I had to go to the reception to order. Then after getting some details about the menu, I ordered Fried Chicken Wings (× 1) in the starter then Mixed Veg Fried Rice (× 1) , Nun (× 1) and Mutton Kosha (× 1) for the main course. We had to wait for quite some time to get our order and we even saw people at the other end frustrated with getting their order and they were going to leave but the waiter persuaded them to wait for a bit. We then got our order, about its taste the chicken wings were presented beautifully also it was sprinkled with chopped coriander. There was a tangy sweet taste from the wings ( I guess they've fried them with Soya sauce) , then the mixed veg fried rice and nun, they tasted as usual like the others at other places. Although there was too much corn in the rice which I found to be annoying personally. At the Mutton Kosha, it came with four pieces of meat in it and the gravy was good in taste for the spiciness from it. About the ambience of the place, it was kind of generic although I liked the light on top of our table, they were playing music from the trending ones( which we hear nowadays on Instagram). Moreover it was really convenient for us to pay our bills through UPI. Finally it was my first time visiting there and I wasn't truly happy with the way we were treated and also saw others being treated and even the menu was limited and there wasn't much to choose from and I didn't expect from a place like this. Although I don't want to blame them wholly as I felt that there was a shortage of staff at that moment as well as the customers kept coming as other places were closed out. Thus if I visit this place in the coming days then I hope I won't be treated as...

Scam Nation! Absolute worst service in the name of Buffet. Highly disappointed about the service quality.

Whole Story - I have visited Grill Nation about 4-5 times in the last 6 months and not even once I have been able to appreciate the service received. Firstly they are understaffed and secondly the waiters /servers are not trained professionally. This has been constant since beginning and no matter how much feedback you give to the owner, they don't seem to care.

You need to wait for the starter to refill for at least 10-15 mins everytime. No matter how many times, you tell the waiter to bring the refill, they either ignore the request or walk straight in the aisle as if they didn't hear us.

If by any chance the main course meal gets over, be prepared to return home empty stomach.

No variety of desserts as well. All in all, it's not worth your money!!! You pay a large 800 rupees bill for a meal that you can easily get for 400 rupees if you order a-la-carte in any regular restaurant.

The whole concept of Grill Nation in agartala is to make the most profits by making the customer wait for their food and reduce the number of servings per table. The items with a high cost price like mutton kebabs, fish/ prawn are served at very slow rate/interval and lower cost items like potato, chicken, Corn are offered every minute. If this is not scam then what is?

Owner once told us that they purposely slow down the serving speed so that people can finish the items on their plate. But the reality the exact opposite.

Food quality is good, but the experience is an absolute nightmare.

The sad part is the owner doesn't care about the customers and think people are complaining to get discounts on the total bill. The reality is - people dont mind paying full or extra if they see the service is excellent.

I hope the other buffets like barbecue Nation, Absolute BBQ, etc open their branches in agartala soon. Otherwise Grill Nation is a total monopoly here and are scamming the people of agartala everyday with sub par service and...

Worst experience ! I ordered Kolkata style chicken dum biryani! It came in a normal polythene and wrapped in an aluminium foil.. With no swiggy tag and No name tag of their Restaurant!!!!!!

Very poor quality and they gave a big piece of dry chicken breast piece and the biryani also didn't taste good it had no flavour added. As today is Dasami ! So they provided offer of Rs 150 .. The original price was Rs 355 including tax and delivery charges the order amount to Rs 235.. I was literally confused whether it was from Grill nation or it was from somewhere else... Every other restaurant they atleast have their name tag on their food orders! I thought as it had no name might be the delivery boy has mismatch so I tried to confirm with the restaurant itself. I called them and whosoever picked up the call I explained him the entire thing I wanted to know whether they provide name tag or not... But that person was rude not even listening properly and misbehaved . he told they can't provide name tag on every order !!!.. Obviously as a customer it will be our concern whether it's from the right restaurant or not and also the quality of the food was worse.. Ruined my Dasami night's dinner!!! And when I tried to say they should provide a name tag so that one can understand it's from their restaurant he got angry and shouted on me.. then he said if you have any query regarding the food order go and ask for refund on swiggy! Disappointed and unacceptable behaviour! If you can't provide good quality of food and don't make people fool by providing offer first and then giving the worst quality..
