Read moreWe went for a Saturday night dinner and we regretted the decision a lot that is because of manager SK in anna nagar branch. We came and 8 pm and ordered 6 dishes then one of us asked for bill thinking the dinner is done but we clearly told that we are going to order more now . Instead of taking the order SK came and shouted and literally chased us. Even though we are telling that we wanted to order more he didn't see what we ordered initially and asking us not talk and just to eat because talking we have to do it outside itseems and he's telling that we have to finish eating soon and clear the place soon and not to talk and not to order less. But are these rules applicable for VB is my doubt. All these are happening at 8:50 pm but he's falsely accusing us that we are there from 7 pm and didn't order anything. But we reached VB at 8 only . So does VB has a rule that we shouldn't talk while eating or else we should clear the place in 40 mins???. VB has to answer for the non sense act caused by the manager SK. We taught VB has grown a lot by their ambience but it stays only with the ambience...their service is literally worst night mare which can't even be compared to road side shops. Will never be visiting VB and will never ever leave anyone whom I know to visit VB because of this behavior because I don't want anyone whom I know to...
Read moreWe visited VB World, Anna Nagar, with our family (including kids and parents) around 2 pm, looking forward to the food and experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the special unlimited thali (₹400) for my father. While the food was good, the service left us very disappointed.
When my father politely asked for a small refill of cauliflower fry and sweet, the waiter responded casually and with an unprofessional smile, saying that lunchtime was over and nothing was available. When we insisted, he bluntly stated that “unlimited means only rice and curry, not sweets.” Later, we checked with the cashier and learned that unlimited should cover all items. This miscommunication, combined with the dismissive attitude of the waiter, spoiled what could have been a pleasant meal.
On top of this, basic facilities like drinking/handwash water were unavailable, and the air conditioning was not functional that day. As a family spending nearly ₹4000, we expected not just good food but also respect, hospitality, and a welcoming service — all of which were missing.
VB World has great food options, but unless the staff are trained to treat customers politely and uphold what is promised on the menu, the experience falls far short of...
