Sari organic walk is beautiful and convenient little walk to take you away from the hectic world of central Ubud and into the tranquil setting of the rice fields. The walk wanders through the rice fields past beautiful peaceful eateries with idyllic settings and great atmospheres. Highly recommend is Monkey Bar! You’ll see the real day to day life of Ubuds local farmers, lots of different birds and the walk can be combined with the sweet orange walk to make a large circuit walk. If you wish to do this you will have to use google maps to locate the path that links the two as it is not marked and just an overgrown barely visible track that leads down into the gorge, you just have to faith as the track gets smaller and smaller and fades to a narrow overgrown dirt track and enters the jungle. There will be motorbikes (we were on them the first time) so this can be annoying for either person, if you are on the bike or if you...
Read moreMuch better experience than the other more famous walks (which were disappointing to say the least). This walk made me feel at peace and one with nature. Beautiful serene views with no sound other then the field workers and occasional motorists that bike past you. It goes on for a while and there are plenty of rest stops along the way. I would be wary of the artist woman near the front of the trail as she is just trying to make you feel guilty and pressured to buy something. When she finally gets the message she goes total silence and ignores you. The batik painter about halfway through though on the left, HE was awesome and kind :) Endless photo...
