Sedjuk is inside the POS Bloc, near Humaide. This place has a family vibe. It’s a cozy place to hang out with your friends, community, or family. Neither too noisy, nor quiet. The restaurant is clean, neat, spacious, and Instagram-able. The payment is non-human payment only.
The menu has unique names as representatives of its brand. You can find many variants of the Bakmi Oven with chicken, beef, or rib. I call it upgrading Bakmi. If you want rice you can choose a rice bowl and if you just want to eat something sweet they have many Indonesian-upgrading desserts or just drinking their beverages.
If you come here for the first time, I recommend you choose the original one. The menu is Bakmi Ayam Oven Original. It was so tasty and the broth was so rich. I loved the noodle because it was my type of noodle, little and well done. I call it upgrading Bakmi😄
I had Matcha Supreme for my drink, it’s a matcha + hazelnut fresh milk + matcha ice cream. it wasn’t too sweet. As an unsweet tooth, it was just adequate for my taste. But, the matcha was lil’ bit bitter, and the ice cream wasn’t that legit.
My friend had Bakmi Ayam Oven Siram Keju, shocked the noodle has a cheesy coloring as it has been marinated with cheese. So it made the cheese flavor so strong, but the broth was lighter than mine. My friend so loves it. She had Penyedjuk Lara, a peppermint mocha latte, but she didn't like how she expected it because the mocha latte was over the peppermint. So, it is just like you drink a mocha latte without any peppermint flavor.
We had Brownies in The Sky for our dessert, brownies with vanilla ice cream. Again, it had its unique taste, the brownies had sea salt in the middle hence salty slightly. But, the texture of the brownies was so soft.
Unfortunately, they serve the drink with a plastic cup for dining in. I hope they could not only upgrade the taste or menu of food but also take care of the earth by less using single-use plastic to serve their beverages, especially...
Read moreSedjuk Bakmi & Kopi Pos Bloc delivers exactly what you hope for on a rainy day or a hungry lunch break: honest, satisfying, no-nonsense Indonesian comfort food.
The highlight here is the bakmi ayam—springy, flavorful noodles cooked just right. The two variations we tried showed real attention to detail. One came topped with tender grilled chicken and crisp bok choy, balanced by fried shallots and fresh scallions. Classic and comforting. The other featured chicken in a rich, savory black pepper sauce with sautéed mushrooms, adding a deeper umami kick and a bit of heat. Both plates were dry-style (no broth in the bowl), which let the toppings and seasonings shine.
On the side, a small bowl of wonton soup rounded out the meal nicely. The broth was light but flavorful, and the wontons were plump and delicate.
Drinks? They’ve got the local favorites down. Grass jelly with lychee—refreshing and sweet, no complaints. The other was a mild herbal tea, a perfect counterbalance to the savory mains.
Sedjuk doesn’t try to be fancy, and that’s its strength. The setting’s cozy, the tile tables have character, and the food speaks for itself. If you’re at Pos Bloc and craving something that tastes like home, this is where you go.
Verdict: 8.5/10 Solid portions, authentic flavor, and a great vibe....
Read moreHonestly this is my first review to google with bad experience. We ordered 6 Bakmi, 4 ice tea and 2 bottles of mineral water (cold). First she gave us mineral water which is not cold and tell us cold one out of stock and she told us an extra charge for ice cube, after arguing finally the restaurant gave 1 cup ice cube for free. I appreciate that! Secondly, as We sat outdoor waiting for 35-40 minutes expecting our food to serve soon, and the waitress came and give us all the food budle sealed in a plastic bag like we ordered from gfood/gabfood. And she said easily because we sitting at outdoor that why our food serve in take away box, none of the staff or the cashier informed me that the food will be serve in take away bowl and did not even say sorry. Am not a fussy person but I have my right to give your staff attitude, bad service ever!! So we decided to eat in the...
