Hotel Antara — Hotel in Jakarta

BE AWARE! OLD AND SMELLY HOTEL I don't understand how this hotel has 4* rating... It's very old, dirty. Very strong smell of cigarettes in the room and lobby. Room was full of lo g hair, and bedsheets smelled of another guest. I asked to change for new, but new linens and towels 'clean' ones smell a lot of cigarettes and bed linen is all in holes. Pillows are dirty. Lights is not working, only main light is on. 2 stars only for staff, that was great, helpful and trying their best. This place really needs renovation. Pictures look nothing like reality. I'm not a picky traveller, but it was terrible conditions. Especially for the price. I was offered to change rooms - same issues there. I would not...

Good room to stay with affordable budget, the location also strategic near shopping arcade and easy to find something to eat or if you just wanna find some good coffee shop. I don't really understand with the soundproof wall but I'd give it 3 ⭐⭐⭐ for the soundproof, because I can still hear them when walking in hallway
