Never going back again. Visited on saturday night and it was barren, lots of sides like dimsum & gimbab weren't available. I had premium package, idr 333k nett . When I asked about the dessert " di outlet ini ga ada es campur sama rujak, cuma ada salad sm es krim satu orang satu". Then I thought, but you said back when explaining the menu other than premium steak everything was included in the package? If your outlet doesn't have it, simply cross it from the menu. I have no degree in business but I'm sure it's borderline a scam. That was just one thing I asked, too tired to argue, so... Also Saikoro chunk doesn't taste juicy at all. Another thing that had me baffled. They only gave one tong for grilling per table because apparently they have "limited stock". But as I said it was barren when I visited, there's literally only 1 other occupied table other than mine. Still, I tried to request can I have extra? I also pointed since it's not that busy at that moment surely you can spare one more, but they firmly said NO.
Okay. Me & my friend left the restaurant feeling queasy. Pretty sure it's not just because of the saikoro.

Read moreI'm very very rare eating in AYCE restaurant, and today is the first time after 4 years ago. 😋 We choose this restaurant because we are free to take the food by ourself (in other restaurant we should request it to the waiter for bring it to us). For the package there were two options: Regular and Premium. We choose Premium package; since it is weekend the price is around Rp. 123,000 (tax included). While for Regular package, the price is around Rp. 90,000 (if I'm not mistaken 😋) The iron plate was having two functions: for BBQ and for Shabu. I'm very satisfied with it because we can experience two type of cooking style (BBQ and Shabu) in one time 😁👍 There were 3 flavors option for the Shabu soup: Original (beef broth), Miso Soup and Spicy. It was the right choice for us, the premium beef (Wagyu Saikoro, Wagyu Beef Slice, USA Premium Beef, AUS Premium Beef) are delicious 🤤👍👍👍 The food in the regular package were also delicious. 👍👍👍

Read moreSebelumnya pernah mencoba Deuseyo di cabang Mall Ciputra & merasa cocok dengan rasanya. Namun berhubung agak pricy, aku tertarik mencoba AYCEnya. Ternyata buka di Raffles Place, jadi ga perlu jauh-jauh ke Green Terrace.
Lokasinya sendiri terletak di Raffles Place. Dari halte busway Juanda, kalian tinggal nyebrang & belok kiri ke dereran ruko Jl. Juanda I.
Buat paketnya ada regular dan premium. Menu regular weekdays seharga 99 ribu, sedangkan weekend 109 ribu. Kalau premium, nambah 29 ribu dan belum termasuk ppn & service tax. Waktu makannya selama 70 menit. Satu hal yang aku suka, kita bebas mengambil sendiri. Beberapa resto AYCE sejenis harus diambilin.
Untuk sausnya terdapat beberapa jenis. Saya coba yang gochujang (ini pedas gurih dan teksturnya thick), minyak wijen yamg gurih & sejenis cabe gitu. Menurutku yang ga terlalu tahan pedas, pedasnya masih oke.
Untuk supnya ada yang miso dan ori. Namun jujur, rasa supnya asin padahal pas rebusan pertama dan isinya maaih full. Aku agak kecewa karena supnya terlalu asin padahal miso.
Minumannya ada 4, yakni lychee tea, lemonade, lemon tea & blackcurrant. Untuk dagingnya, ada yang standard dan udah dibumbui maupun premium. Yang premium ada AUS neef, US beef dan saikoro.
Jujur, daging premiumnya beneran premium. Dagingnya cukup empuk dan segar. Apalagi saikoronya yamg berlemak gurih. Aku bahkan manggang belum matang banget, namun rasanya gurih dan nggak berbau amis darah. Teksturnya empuk banget.
Aku lebih menyarankan yang premium. Yang regular cukup oke, namun sapinya ada yang agak alot Namun daging ayamnya cukup enak.
Untuk side dish aku mencoba :
1 Ubi
Ubimya cukup enak. Sigoreng gitu dan ditambah madu. Ubinya empuk dan rasanya sedikit manis.
Fish Katsu
Ikannya menggunakan ikan dori dan lumayan renyah. Iklannya nggak amis dan menurutku lebih enak kalau dimakan pakai saus gochujang karena lebih flavourful.
Korean Fried Chicken
Fried chickennya ada yang dikasih sejenis saus ala Korea gitu. Sausnya enak dan rasanya mansi gurih gitu. Mirip apam di resto Korea.
Fried Chicken
Ayamnya ada yang dibalur tepung dan digoreng. Rasanya juga cukup enak menurutku. Tepung renyah tapi nggak oily.
Gimbap
Aku suka gimbapnya, rasanya lebih enak dari bayanganku. Gimbatnya bite size dan nasinya pulen. Rasanya pun pas, sayurnya terasa renyah dan rasa gimbapnya cemderung asam gurih.
