First off, let’s start with their lack of professionalism. I say that because they didn’t care about the weather conditions, the safe distance between their tourist boats and other activities. All simultaneously taking place without considering the most important aspect - safety of customer.
Mr. Wayan was very nice and helpful, like most locals of the island but his scuba diving team were really irresponsible which led to me having a torn shoulder ligament and it was only the second day of my vacation. They tend to park boats next to other boats consisting of tourists doing scuba or snorkeling.
Despite mentioning that it was my first time, they jerked me unit the water rather than letting me down facing the right direction. Which led to panic and me grasping for the boat support. They had none. And since the boats were banging into other boats. My shoulder twisted the wrong way leading to a ligament tear. Sounds rather simple but trust me. It’s way more painful given the ignorant staff and weather conditions.
Also, their prices are absolutely ridiculous. The water dirty and staff careless. I seriously suggest you to take the ferry to Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida. It has hardly any tourists and crystal water with multiple spots for diving and loads of sea life to explore. I know this because I did it the next day. I v en stayed there for a couple of days. Better than the overcrowded mainland...
Read moreDANGEROUS. We went to PT Bali Apollo dive and water sports to go snorkeling on October 2016. The boat took us to what they told us would be an "incredible reef". When arriving there was no reef, the driver stopped in an extremely busy area with a ton of other boats. Our boat was so close to all the other boats it kept crashing into the other boats. We looked into the water and all you could see was dead coral with a few fish. The driver started to throw bread into the water hoping to attract fish, but was unsuccessful. We told the driver it was not safe to get into the water, as there was a ton of other boats around, and also there was other boats speeding by us doing different water activities. Not to mention there was NO diver down flag or anything. After 10 minutes of sitting on the boat trying to explain how unsafe it was, we told the driver we wanted to go back to shore. When arriving back we spoke to the guy who sold us the package. He told us that they driver didn't understand and he can take us again. At that point we saw how unsafe their operation was and told him we just wanted our money back. The company refused to five us our money back regardless of how unsafe it was and how we DIDN'T even go in the water. This place is EXTREMELY UNSAFE. I would never go back and put myself in that...
Read moreThis place was very overpriced, equipment was in bad shape and the beach was very dirty with garbage floating everywhere. We chose to do jet skiing, paragliding, sea walk and turtle Island. The sea walk was by far the worst experience. They gave us very little instructions and failed to mention a lot of important things. When we got underwater it was very hard to breathe, hard to see and hard to keep balance. We were not given any warning about any of this. By the time I got oriented and was starting to enjoy the experience it was over. The whole thing took maybe 6 minutes. It was one of the biggest wastes of money I've ever experienced. The paragliding was fun, but also very short. Jet skiing was fun and lasted long enough that it didn't feel like a rip off. The boat to turtle Island was very pricey, but the mini rescue zoo on the island was interesting and we got a great tour from one of the volunteers. I was sad to hear that none of the money we paid for the short (and very expensive) boat ride goes to the zoo.
I would not recommend this...
