The spa experience here was the biggest disappointment of our trip to Ubud.
A positive to begin. The staff here are lovely and welcoming.
The spa itself is average, not exuding luxury although it was not poorly maintained. Adjacent construction noise within the resort grounds detracts from the serenity on 2 of the 4 days.
The greatest problem here is the quality of the treatments, which were woeful. They are the worst my partner and I have ever experienced anywhere in the world, and that is completely disregarding the premium price tag attached here (compared to other local spas).
There were so many issues with the treatments/therapists here, but to summarise the main problems-
I would avoid this spa at all cost until further and significant staff training...

Was with my partner, we wanted a foot massage after a tiring day, and this was the last spa open in the area, so we decided to just go in, seeing pretty good average score on google. Big mistake. Do not believe the google score on this one, only after did I read the 1star reviews and understood how manipulated this score is.
The massage itself was average, but far from the best I've had. The chair was quite uncomfortable (no headrest), the massage just started, without any cleaning of the feet first, and ended likewise, leaving the feet thoroughly covered in oil (not very comfortable to walk afterwards). But the biggest surprise came when we were presented with the bill... It was the 1st spa in Bali where they didnt tell the price up front - I guess our mistake, we were tired and didnt bother to ask, after all we wanted just a 30min foot massage, not some fancy spa treatment, so how expensive could that be? But as soon as it came to payment I understood why. Turns out we were presented with a 610k IDR bill. Yes, over 300k for 30min basic foot massage. One can get a full body 1.5h massage at a good spa in Ubud for less, not to mention what one could get for that price in a cheap one...
If anyone completely does not care about money, then the massage itself I would rate at 3 stars out of 5, had worse (not that many but still), had much...
