A really fantastic place. Friendly, sweet staff, beautiful atmosphere, original art by well known Indonesian artists and superb food. I don't usually go to restaurants with western menus but this place is an exception. I love having their breakfasts. Their Eggs Benedict is perfect and this is a dish i am reluctant to order in Canada because it is often not well done. Dill hollandaise sauce is scrumptious and eggs perfectly cooked. Their "Two egg scramble with tobiko cream chesse" was likewise absolutely delicious. And to top it off they have the best espresso i have had in Bali. They have an extensive lunch and dinner menu of asian dishes that i have yet to try but it looks great. They have a wide selection of cakes, croissants and other pastries which are also really fresh and tasty and not overly sweet like many Indonesian cakes and sweets.
January 20, 2025 Update Iraga is still scrumptious and still has the sweetest staff. I love their breakfast menu and the rest of their menu is also amazing. Their bakery products are by dar the best I have had in Indonesia. I highly recommend the...
Read moreI often went to this cafe near the delta store, it has a convenient location and air conditioning, but what happened was simply terrible. And this is not the first time. 🤢The first time they brought a dish with worms, larvae in an avocado, it’s good that I noticed it and didn’t eat it. It’s not at all clear where the cooks and waiters are looking. they just apologized... A month later, we stopped by this cafe again and again brought a larva, this time it surfaced in salmon soup... it seems that they do not wash vegetables and food well, and generally do not monitor the sterility in the kitchen, because this is not the first time. 🤮that the employees simply apologized again, and I left and will definitely not return to this parasitic place again and do not recommend it to anyone! Due to feeling unwell, I went to the hospital, consulted doctors, took various tests, spent a lot of money and am now on antibiotics... Be careful when...
Read moreMy stay in this place was brief, only 20 minutes. That said, I had hoped to stay for longer and get comfortable with my laptop out and calmly drinking coffee and snacking on pastries.
I took the opportunity while briefly waiting for my order (a Café Latte and a Chai Tea) to try out the various seating options, outside, by the street and inside. There's many seating options, and the seats are all decent. The entire place is kept clean and the air wafts with the delicious smells of pastries and coffee. They offer a decent selection of cakes, and sell new York styled blueberry cheesecakes which is always a plus in my book.
It was telling when one of the customers had gotten comfortable enough they fell asleep while many reviews note how they're comfortable and often return to this place.
Speaking honestly, both the chai tea and cafe late are average. Yet the place had captivated me enough to want to come back there if...
