The experience started with warm smiles and genuine hospitality as we arrived at their cozy workshop. We were introduced to a stunning collection of ring designs, each one more beautiful than the last. After choosing our favorites, Wayan and her husband guided us through every step of the silver-making process with patience, skill, and a deep passion for their craft.

We learned to melt silver, mold it into bands, draw it into wire, hammer it to shape, solder the connections, and finally sand and polish our rings to perfection. Every step was hands-on, engaging, and filled with fun. Wayan’s infectious laughter and kind encouragement made the experience even more delightful!

What makes this workshop even more special is the story behind it. Wayan and her husband have been running their silver workshop together for 28 years. This craft brought them together, became their livelihood, and helped them raise a family. Their love and dedication shine through in everything they do.

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND anybody with some time to spare in Ubud to attend this silver making class! Wayan and her husband are really passionate craftsmen who take pride in delivering quality silver work. This class takes about 3 hours to create a ring from scratch. Do WhatsApp them to book an appointment beforehand so they could prepare for your arrival. They try to limit their workshop to 4 students at once as their business philosophy is “quality over quantity”. This is great because they really make sure you learn and create your ring properly! They don’t intend to run big businesses taking many customers at once. They are just a humble couple who wants to make enough to get by and spread their joy in silver making. Please support them and you will not regret it!

I was here a couple weeks ago, and had an awesome experience. I came in with a specific ring design and the guys went to every effort to make sure it looked exactly as I wanted. They had me participate in every step of the process (unless it was a tool too dangerous for a first timer to use) and the ring turned out better than the picture, and way better than I could of hoped for. Don't be deterred by the small shop front on a main street, there's still plenty of space and you won't notice the street noise once your making your jewelery. The guys were all super professional, knowledgeable and just so kind. I had some friends do some of the other jewelery making classes around ubud, and some of their experiences were not the same as mine, due to larger class sizes and time restraints. I was pretty lucky here and got one on one help the whole time. Even when other people passed by and decided to join there were still enough staff to ensure everyone got assistance without waiting around. All round great experience and would recommend...
