What a wonderful experience we had at the Devlin. Top class customer service, stunning cocktails and food and beautiful design features throughout the hotel, bar and restaurant. The rooftop terrace - WOW! Even if you're not staying in the hotel, it is well worth making a visit there. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with a really warm welcome at reception. The rooms may be small, but they are pristine and really well designed and they make up for it in comfort and the most ingenious well equipped bar and snacks and other little surprises! The bed was super comfortable, really good mattress and pillows and the shower was excellent. But the ultimate experience was had in the rooftop terrace. We were going to go somewhere else for dinner, but didn't want to leave as everything was so perfect! We started with cocktails, which were delicious, we recommend the Fruity Daisy and Mago Basil Smash. As soon as we walked in. the staff were so friendly and engaging, they honestly couldn't do enough for us, I don't think I've ever experienced customer service like it. Because of their fabulousness, I took the trouble of remembering their names, Achmed, Sarai and Cosmin - thankyou, you were amazing! The breakfast was really good and was back in Layla's rooftop restaurant. We really felt like we were away in a foreign city. Its hard to believe that we were in Dublin. The main thing that really stood out was the politeness, the really extra attention to detail by every member of staff we encountered. This is a very well run hotel, the staff take great pleasure in ensuring you have a wonderful time, with attention to detail. Thankyou and we can't wait to come back. The rooms are cute, but not clean or maintained well. There was bugs in the marshmallow snacks in the snack bar so we did not have confidence in any of their food offerings in the room. Upon dropping a wet towel, it became blackish brown with dirt from the wooden floors. Two of our 3 coffee cups were dirty/used when we arrived. The pastries they serve in the morning at the front window seemed stale like they were at least a day old. One side of the building is next to an alleyway that was loud/busy at odd hours. Having said that, we did have a high quality meal at their restaurant. I would definitely visit again for the food in their restaurant, but would rather stay in a more affordable and better managed hotel next time.

Room was great but I do prefer to get out of bed from the side rather than the front! The restaurant and views were spectacular along with the bar. The only reason for a 2 star was the unacceptable levels of hygiene at breakfast. The milk jug had several rings of dried milk inside it where it had been used by customer after customer along with other utensils begin grubby. Maybe one shouldn’t be surprised when staff sit at the bar on their phones rather than serve. If you think you have time to do that I would recommend you do it out of sight. I did mention it to front of house and received an apology but it should never be like that in the first place.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Devlin Hotel, from the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so at home they were so friendly and helpful. My room was perfect for my needs, the bed was extremely comfortable and there was a great shower, fully sticked mini bar and selection of treats. The food was excellent and the following morning I was served by Isadora , a true professional and took her job very seriously, excellent breakfast any amount of fresh Coffee from the traditional coffee machine and freshly squeezed juice. I'll definitely book another stay at yhe Devlin and would highly recommend it.

Extremely trendy hotel with an excellent atmosphere and amenities (bar, live music, cinema). The location is also really cool, as it resides in a small but hipstery-vibe neighborhood. It's not central Dublin, which is a blessing and a curse all at once. You'll need to take the tram or a bus to get to the city center. The room was small but very cute and efficiently-designed. Only problem was, as we were on the 1st floor, we heard some of the live music in our room. Take that into consideration if you're an early sleeper. Be mindful that the snacks and stuff on the wall in the room are not free.

The Devlin is a young and modern hotel. The rooms are small as described, but equipped with everything you need and more. We were also impressed by the breakfast with its fantastic view. The hotel is conveniently located for Dublin city centre and can be reached quickly and easily by public transport. We also enjoyed the dinner and cocktails which also exceeded our expectations. The staff deserve a special mention. They were all very polite, friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and would like to return. Thank you very much!
