While this bridge is primarily used for the Luas (tram), it also serves pedestrians crossing the busy junction below directly to the Dundrum Luas stop. I often use it and find it very handy. However, its downsides are that it is not kept clean and needs a good powerwash. Also, there are antennas on the top of it, that detract from its architectural beauty. I am not against antennas per se but believe they should be camouflaged in the urban environment.
