Salthill Prom — Attraction in Galway

Called in for Sunday lunch with 2 others after 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our order i asked one of the many staff to take our order. Within 5 minutes a bowl of chips arrived, which was ordered a side dish with a curry dish. And a pot tea of which was not ordered I informed the waitress that the tea was not for us. She told us that the rest of the food would be straight out. And brought the tea away. 2 mins. Later another waitress brought more tea. Still no dinner. 30 mins later 2 dinner's arrived. Not mine though. Maybe it's on the way I taught but 15 later no joy. So I asked I was told that the waitress never wrote down the order . She asked if I would now like to order lunch again . I didn't. I asked to see the manager . He said that there was a lot of new staff on . But no solution. I paid my bill and left. I will not be...

Well it's okay. Having lived in this city for many years, and been on the prom many, many times, it aint that big a deal. The only time its reasonably interesting is when new visitors come to the area, mainly at weekends, holiday makers bringing a nicer atmosphere. As opposed to during the week, when the mainly unsocial local people, weirdos, who are seeking solitude, and time to mull over their problems, dont make for the nicest atmosphere I must say.
