Seapoint Leisure — Attraction in Galway

I go there frequently. It's great place to have fun, socialise. The staffs are very friendly and humble. You are always welcome. It's a fun environment, you don't have to spend much money. I reduce to 3* because, I went in for a walk in interview with Paul, he had his own ideas of where I'd fit in in the future, which was if I understood right, was cashier, payroll assistant. But I was just looking for a floor staff job and serving tea ect. I have spent 5yrs home and now I'm look for a busy environment to work in. To engage with people. Some members told me they are always hiring and for the last couple of years I've been frequenting this place, I've met so many staff come and goes, apart from a few who's been there for a very long time. Got a text today that there was a promo increase for Christmas so I decided to drive up from Cork to Galway with herself to get her birthday promo & the €50 extra promo to be met at the door telling us "you aren't getting it because you didn't come up for the past 3 days" no where was that a prerequisite, the text only went out TODAY and we both work so even if we were told about it we couldn't do the 3 hour drive up 3 days in a row.

To say I feel disappointed is an understatement we go up as much as we can and when we especially make the trip up to be turned around.

When visiting the sea point leisure club, I noticed a great atmosphere and covid virus signs were very much visible. Majority of people adhered by the sanitation, but there was others never passed any remarks and ignored the sanitary stations. I personally think that there should be manned at the stations. I was anxious playing the slot machines because of this. Staff were checking for masks, and sprayed some of the chairs and machines, but people jump from chair to chair, making it really impossible for the staff.
