Well, it has a nice view on the both side, as at one side there is a shipyard. And on the other hand it has the city itself and the port. I have been here both time point of afternoon and in the night and trust me the night is just amazing, plus don’t forget to look at the lighthouse over the Ancona city. Well not putting a lot of pics so you go there and Enjoy the view yourself. Well good luck. Do vist this place in Night.

The Arco di Traiano or Trajan's Arch in Benevento was built around 114 AD in honour of the Roman Emperor Trajan. It's situated at the edge of the centro storico of Benevento in the region of Campania. Reaching a height of 15.6 metres, it takes its place in the panoply of sights in this historic city; a short walk from here are the Roman Theatre and the UNESCO World Heritage Santa Sofia Complex.

Una delle più importanti testimonianze dell'architettura urbana romana presenti nelle Marche. Questo arco è stato realizzato (probabilmente) da Apollodoro di Damasco intorno al 115 d. C.(Almeno ciò è quello che si evince dalla apposita targa presente sulla struttura). Tale opera fatta in onore ed come segno di ringraziamento all'imperatore Traiano, fautore e realizzatore dell'ampliamento del porto di Ancona. Ampliamento del porto, al quale contribuì con propri averi, avendone intuito le potenzialità di aumentare a dismisura il traffico di merci da e per la capitale del suo impero. Molto probabilmente sulla sommità di questo Arco in origine erano poste 6 statue bronzee, rappresentanti divinità comunque legate al mare e alla sua navigazione. Un modellino dell'arco che ricostruisce quello che probabilmente era il suo aspetto originario si trova all'interno del Museo Archeologico delle Marche. Particolarmente suggestiva la visione dell'arco on la sua illuminazione notturna.

Requires to go inside the Porto antico and lot to walk (quasi 1.5 hours ) but vale la pena, it’s worth seeing🤗 Air is fresh, clear sky and soft breeze caressing shoulders and cheeks....bet you experience at least once💖✨🛥️

Arch of Triano, ancient Roman port. Amazing to see the old port where my ancestors left for the US. You can look back at the city and imagine what many people saw as they were arriving or departing. Very pretty.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The arch all other historical landmarks seem to be extremely well marked. This is especially important for visitors, and the fact it is bilingual is also very nice.

Description
The Arch of Trajan is an ancient Roman triumphal arch in Benevento, southern Italy. It was erected in honour of the Emperor Trajan across the Via Appia, at the point where it enters the city.
