Lovely museum! Not massive but includes a number of historic artefacts found in the area. Loved the downstairs part and the oven. Seeing how different historic periods overlap with new building was just mind blowing.
It has air con, a bathroom and it is free. We visited on a Saturday morning and it wasn't overly busy.
The staff is super friendly without being intrusive.

La visita ci porta nel sottosuolo del Palazzo, che si trova nei vicoli di Bari vecchia, dove si possono ammirare i resti di una Chiesa Bizantina, dei magnifici mosaici, con disegni di animali marini (polpi e seppie), accostamento molto insolito in un posto religioso, ed un forno utilizzato per cucinare (probabilmente aperto alla cittadinanza).
