Bari City Museum — Attraction in Bari

We ran across this little museum in Bari and went in to have a look. The young man at the door was absolutely brilliant. He gave us a succinct history of the museum itself, explaining why the collection is so small and strange and in doing that he also gave us a short history of Italy that was just fascinating! Hardly qualifies as a museum, short of an unorganized assortment of antiquated objects and books. Absolutely nothing towards explaining Bari's history or culture in the context of proximity within the old city. Save yourself time and...

Il museo è proprio un gioiellino nel centro antico di Bari. La struttura si sviluppa verticalmente su tre piani con annessa terrazza sempre allestita. C'è la disponibilità di un ascensore, ma é possibile salire anche dalle scale. Ci sono stato diverse volte, quest'ultima in occasione della mostra di street art, de Lediesis. All'interno ci sono anche delle mostre storiche permanenti e molto interessanti. Alla reception il personale è molto cortese, pronto ad una accoglienza garbata e carina. Alle domande poste ho ricevuto risposte esaustive. Al primo piano c'è un bagno pulito dove poter fare una pausa.
