Spiaggia Centrale di Cala Gonone — Attraction in Durgali/Dorgali

With all the other incredible beaches available around Cala Gonone, this was not one to recommend. The area we visited, right next to the docks was extremely disappointing. The water was filthy; appeared murky, with literal rubbish and what appeared to be algae floating around. I walked straight in and straight out of the water because of how dirty it looked. Purtroppo Cala Gonone sta ospitando più ospiti di quanto sia sostenibile. Il serbatoio di acqua del comune è sottodimensionato. Questa significa che, se l'alloggio non dispone di autoclave, in alta stagione ci sono quotidiani problemi di assenza di acqua corrente nelle ore più gettonate per la doccia. Cala Gonone è un'ottima base per le escursioni, ma sconsiglio vivamente quella in gommone. Ogni giorno noleggiano 300 gommoni a clienti impreparati con cui non è piacevole condividere le soste. Anche i guidatori esperti locali non rispettano le regole: si avvicinano alle spiagge con il motore acceso non curanti della vigilanza, che infatti non dice nulla.
