Ristorante Pizzeria San Francisco — Restaurant in Durgali/Dorgali

If I could I would give half or no stars at all. The place seemed busy so we thought it must be good.... What a regret to spend time and money in this place. The staffs were more interested in chat with each other than taking orders. We waited 45 min to make our order. Another 40min to eat no mention to the waiting outside of the restaurant for a table while waiters were yelling away. No menu outside of the restaurant so we could at least choose our meal while waiting.. And when we finally got our table there was only ONE menu on the table, so we had to see together the menu as they said there was no enough menus. I should've left at this point but no I still couldn't believe a busy place like that would at least compensate on the food. But again disappointment came to our table. I don't wanna get this even longer talking about the ridiculous food. Just avoid this restaurant and go to Snoopy Ristoranti which...

We had great expectations for this place as it seemed to be full every night. However, we were quite disappointed. We ordered a mixed fish platter, a pizza, a glass of wine and beer. Beer was great, but then again, what could possibly go wrong. When the glass of wine arrived, it had a layer of foam on top, which we thought was odd. Also, it tasted odd. Horrible in fact. A little bit like a mix of beer and wine, which had been standing out in the sun for a week, then cooled down and added a vodka shot. The waiter explained that it was a dry wine and not sweet. Definitely not sweet but definitely not my usual definition of a dry wine either. On to the fish platter, which was recommended by the chef. It was consisting of langoustines, a sea bream, octopus and shrimp. It was edible but quite dry and seemed like it had been frozen… but at least the pizza was pretty ok, which allows...

We visited the restaurant as a family with two young children. We ordered two portions of Spaghetti Aglio e Olio for our kids and were specifically asked if we wanted cheese. No mention or confirmation about chili. The menu clearly states that chili is added only on request.

After waiting over 1.5 hours (30 minutes just for someone to take our order), we were finally served… and both portions had chili. Completely inappropriate for kids. When I asked the waiter to replace the meals, I was told I’d be charged again. The waiter was shockingly rude and dismissive, and struggled to understand even basic English.

We’ve never experienced such poor service and lack of understanding. Definitely do not recommend. There are plenty of better places nearby with good food and a pleasant atmosphere....
