Ok, I know: it's a food chain but it doesn't mean that it cannot be good, so here I am giving an overall 5 stars review. Pros : Best curry I ever had in Milan *

Cons : They have an unusual model to serve food. Dishes are not prepared for a single table but according to the requests coming from the whole restaurant. So it can be very cost effective and the kitchen crew is very happy but in contrast guests are not served at the same time. I had a friend who has been served well after we had all finished eating and we were feeling embarrassed. Also (it's happened 2 out 3 times) we received the appetisers while we were already having the main course.

Despite the long list of cons we loved our food. Maybe there was too much lemongrass in the pad tchai but the curry was just awesome.

Non sono solito fare recensioni negative dei posti in cui mi sono trovato male, ma stavolta devo per l’assurdità della situazione e perché credo che la professionalità del servizio sia sempre fondamentale, anche in un posto semplice come questo. Siamo in due, ristorante non particolarmente pieno, aperta solo la prima parte della sala. Intanto ci mettono diversi minuti per venire ad accoglierci e accompagnarci ad un tavolo dopo diversi “arriviamo”, “un attimo” ecc…. Veniamo portati ad uno dei tavolini alti con posto striminzito perché accanto c’erano altre due persone, chiedo se gentilmente possiamo sederci sul bancone metallico che ha gli sgabelli imbottiti anziché questi scomodi di legno, mi viene detto che quel bancone è solo per gruppi di almeno 4 persone, per cui ci sediamo. Zero posto per tenere il giubbino, ci sono degli appendiabiti distanti, ma tra portafogli e altro preferisco tenere il giubbino con me, per cui, essendo lo sgabello striminzito, lo tengo sulle gambe. Non eravamo ancora seduti che il cameriere ci chiede cosa volessimo da bere. Straniti, dato che non avevamo ancora aperto il menu, chiediamo due acque che arrivano dopo 10 minuti insieme a una bevanda in bottiglietta che non avevamo chiesto. Nell’appoggiare il vassoio sul tavolino il cameriere rovescia la bottiglietta aperta il cui contenuto riempie il tavolino, le tovagliette, i tovaglioli, per cui provvede a cambiare tutto. Passano altri 10 minuti in cui eravamo pronti ad ordinare e un altro cameriere col palmare provvede a chiedere le ordinazioni di due tavoli arrivati dopo di noi. Attiro la sua attenzione e gli dico che siamo pronti per ordinare, mi dice che passa a breve. Nel frattempo arriva una coppia e si siede sul famoso bancone metallico e così un’altra coppia (bancone che ci era stato detto fosse per almeno 4 persone). Dopo circa 30 minuti di attesa vedo lo stesso cameriere col palmare andare a prendere l’ordinazione di un tavolo appena arrivato, alla vista di ciò prendo le due bottigliette d’acqua, chiedo di pagarle e andare via data la surreale situazione, anche perché noto che clienti che erano già seduti al nostro arrivo vengono serviti in quel momento, per cui dopo circa 40 minuti. Il cameriere con palmare ci liquida in due secondi dicendo che ci versa l’acqua in delle bottigliette di plastica e che possiamo andare senza pagarle. Non una scusa, nemmeno la possibilità di fargli presente cosa non fosse andato. Immagino ne fosse ampiamente consapevole e che volesse evitare di giustificarsi. Esperienza da...

We've had pretty good meals at other locations of Wagamama in the past, but this was a disappointment. I ordered a dish that included kimchi, but it arrived without the kimchi. When I called the server back over to ask about it, she kind of shrugged and said, "Oh, we're out of kimchi." I would have ordered something different had I known. She eventually asked the cook to heat up some vegetables in chili sauce for me as a substitute, but by the time it arrived, the rest of my meal was cold. I still had to pay full price.

This next part is not really a huge deal in itself, but it's very weird: All of the servers were wearing blue tape over any piercings they had (ear, nose, etc.). I guess that it's a requirement by the management? It was super distracting and off-putting, and I've never been to a restaurant before that...
