It was ok for a day, everyone cramped next to each other, no direct access to the sea because of the fences so if you got the place in the row 6 for example you will see the other people’s behinds all day 🤣! Vendors shouting around you all day trying to sell different things. The sun beds and umbrellas were fine. The showers were cold of course and there was no tab to wash feet only so you got wet everywhere if you wanted to only wash feet. The sand was also nog the cleanest, sharp objects and trash in it ( like everywhere in Italy!) so be careful when barefoot! The price could be lower specially at this time of the year. Parking around the place is 1 euro/h Streets further you can park for free for 2 hours with the clock thing… a bit further than that you can park completely free and no need for the clock, I will put picture of the street with free parking spots here. Drinks are very expensive. Food at nearby place was ok, nothing special.

I personally enjoy my experience in the private beach. However, there was no control/staff near the fence, so I still feel worry to left my stuff, no locker either. I also saw some people don’t pay/no bracelet go inside the private beach just because their relatives were there. But I like that they have shower and a clean cabin to change my clothes. I recommend you to book in advance, and for people who want to chill on the beach more secure and relax.

One of my favorite beaches in the stretch. Less crowded then others, a bit better chairs, beds and sun umbrellas. Price is a little less than in the others comparing value for money. Much more affordable if you buy a weekly ticket. Great sand, always clean (sea&the beach), helpful staff. Also, they have a small bar with live music/DJ-ing at night. WiFi free at the bar and part of the beach where the signal reaches. Enjoy Sicily!

Lido Valdesi is a private part of the mondello beach, please do a pre booking online. They have different sections from A to C and A is left B centre and C right. You are separated with a frence towards the overcrowded public beach. It costs 32 Eur for 1 Umbrella und 2 sun beds the Staff (Frederico) was really nice to us and showed us the place. I was there today (Sunday) and it's not fully booked in August. Despite people are claiming it's not so dirty or bad as it seems. The toilets were OK , shower and dressing room too. Don't forget the deposit of 1.5 Eur each bracelet you enter the private beach.

The beach is till 10:30 good to access even on public beach side.

The only minus is the disturbing people who offers you every 30min massage. Please staff don't let them in into the private beach!

Still I...
