BEWARE WHEN PARKING HERE!!! SAY NO TO THEIR VALET

Long story short, i rarely leave any comments in google maps, but now im reviewing a parking lot because i dont want anyone to have the same bad experience like us when visiting ravello!

I planned to visit Villa Rufolo but there was no public/paid parking spot available. Desperate and frustrated, I found out that this auditorium has a big parking lot which charge 3 euros per hour (source checked from google), then I planned to park here since 6 euros is better than wasting time looking for parking.

When I entered the parking lot, a guy with short figure told me that its not 3 euros per hour but 10 euros per hour since we own a big car (almost like minivan). Feeling a bit sketchy,i still decided to pay 20 euros for 2 hours because i dont want to waste more time. The WEIRD part is that the fat guy inside the counter (another person) told me that I SHOULD leave my key to them to park my car. At first im a bit confused because i have never encountered any public parking or garage parking that required me to leave car key to the valet. I just dont like the fact that some stranger know how many stuffs I have inside my car since I have plenty luggages and valuables after I checked out from hotel in the morning. With positive mind, I still tried to think positive and agreed .That short guy has a quick eye when he noticed i bring my drone down from my car (i did it super quick) then he asked me like "is that a drone?" Our family was shocked of how quick witted he is. He then parked my car at the right side of the garage but when I came back, the car was parked at the left side! Why did they move my car even tho there are only 2 cars in the garage? I visited in low season in the morning. Then instead of him who bring me the car, there was a big tall russian guy who drove my car back to me. Okay 30 euros paid because i was gone for 3 hours (as agreed in the beginning).

I visited another nearby town before checking into the new hotel and head for the big supermarket. We stopped for groceries around 40mins and parked our car in the supermarket parking space. When we returned, i found my car window was smashed and all of my luggages were gone. I have visited europe a couple of times and supermarket parking is considered "safer" since it is an open space with a lot of people around. The stuffs inside my van are plenty and huge that suv or mpv car wont fit, only a big van could fit all of them. This is just my speculation like what a coincidence some thieves with a big van know there were a lot of things inside my car and only a big van would fit all of it? Unless it was tagged and we are being followed. When i check my android google location, it is written italy but in russian alphabet.

that parking guy's attitude alone is enough to not park your car guys, i dont usually do this but i dont want anyone to get the same experience as mine, not trying to prove or anything, just telling you guys...

Mettetevi comodi e leggete.

In Ravello, the curves of the auditorium designed by Oscar Niemeyer rise imposingly against the scenic backdrop of the Amalfi Coast. The architect had designed an a masterpiece which expose the constructive and aesthetic possibilities of concrete. Respecting the site’s architectural and natural identity, the terrace from Ideal Work overlooks the sea, blending seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
