Nice place with a welcome drink of prosecco. The food was very good and the seafood spaghetti are definitely to try. Most staff was lovely, but the guy that served us was definitely lacking some customer service skills. We sat down at 9.15 pm and out order was taken at around 9.35. We were planning on having 3 courses and maybe dessert. We wanted to have starters and pasta first then evaluate whether to share a secondo or maybe get 2. We were then informed upon ordering that the kitchen closes at 10 and therefore we'd have had to order there and then. So we decided not to order seconds as we were unsure. I mean if the kitchen closes at 10 then that's fine I guess. Shame that a table arrived at 9.53 and got served their food, so clearly there was time for us to order some more food. Moving on to the wine. I noticed they had a house wine, and since we've had some good ones during our stay in Campania, we figured we'd ask, but we would have gotten a bottle depending on waiting staff recommendations. Bare in mind that I'm Italian so the language barrier was not the issue here. So I proceed to ask about the house wine and the waiter just said 'yes it's nice' without letting me finish or ask about bottled wine, and before I knew it, the wine menu was taken from us (as if he assumed we couldn't afford a bottle due to the fact we asked about the house wine 😂). Anyways the house wine was passable but I'd have much rather ordered a nice bottle. Bottom line, lovely food, wish we could have a had more, and they probably lost on an extra 60 to 100...
Read moreThe food was exceptional — fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the whole experience felt truly authentic. A highlight of our trip. Margareta was the absolute center of the restaurant, incredible.
Amazing restaurant. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was delicious. The service was kind and professional, and the setting was beautiful. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the area.
One of the best meals I’ve had in Italy. You can really taste the care and tradition in every dish. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the service made us feel right at home.
Incredible dining experience. The pasta was homemade, the wine selection was excellent, and the views made it even more special. A perfect spot for a long,...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our dinner here - the food and service was impeccable. They welcomed us with a complimentary prosecco and this mini leek pie thing - very nice touch. We didn’t make reservations on a Saturday night and had to come back an hour later - I suggest if you want to eat earlier (7:30pm) you should make reservations. This was not an issue to us as we were staying in town and we were promptly seated at 8:45pm.
Between my husband and I, we started with the fried zucchini flower stuffed with ricotta cheese and grilled octopus. Both were excellent - my only comment is the zucchini dish maybe a bit too heavy as there was 3 huge blossoms stuffed pretty fully with ricotta. (I was not able to finish..)
For mains we shared the grouper fish and a pasta dish with pancetta and zucchini...
