Terrerosse Sorrento — Attraction in Sorrento

BEST PLACE IN SORRENTO!! Terrerosse is a magical gem of a place, different than all the other shops in Sorrento. At Terrerosse, all the art and pottery is original and beautiful! Wondrous sea creatures, lemons and olives, and Sorrentine mythology, all hand-crafted and painted in vibrant, glorious colors. Alessandro and Enrica, the owners, are lovely and kind, and they are artists of the highest skill.

We had so much fun visiting the shop, watching them work, and hearing about their art! We wanted to buy some of their bowls, but the ones we picked out were already sold and we were leaving less than two days later. Despite the very tight timeline, they crafted, painted, fired, and glazed four new bowls for us with designs and color schemes we chose! We couldn't believe they were able to finish them in time (they went to a huge effort for us!), and we were so happy with the result! (pictures attached)

Skip all of the generic pottery places that all sell the same cheap stuff and RUN here! All of the pieces are stunning and unique, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in Sorrento. Prices were very reasonable for handmade pottery especially when compared to the generic items you find in other stores (25 euro for a small bowl), we felt like we made out well.
