Our experience at Vicolo 34 was truly wonderful! Originally, we had a different restaurant in mind, but since it was closed, we stumbled upon Vicolo 34 on Google Maps. It turned out to be a great choice – the best part of our time in Tropea.

The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the ambiance was beautiful. We asked the waiters to make our mussel starter spicier, and they pleasantly surprised us by not only making it spicier but also adding some chili oil and dried chili.

The bread was particularly noteworthy – definitely the best we had in Tropea. The pasta dishes were also really nice. The portion was good and the quality matched the price.

While we wish we had found this restaurant earlier (it was our last night in Tropea), we're definitely planning to return if we ever come back to the area. Vicolo 34 provided us with a memorable experience with its comfortable setting and delicious...

We followed the odours from the kitchen. We did not make a mistake! The restaurant would have closed soon but they allowed us in. And the service was spot on.

We ordered raw seafood (2 crudi imperiali magnifici!!!) which could have not been more fresh and tasty and wonderful!! We were offered then to add a few oysters delivered only half an hour earlier...we could taste the sea and the freshness. We ordered then some pasta and fried fish/seafood. Not to forget the starters, i fiori di zucca con la 'nduja, perfectly matched.

I would like to thank for all the attentions and care we received. It added up to the great food and made the experience quite unforgettable.

We had late lunch, and after a while it was a bit warm under the tent, but i can imagine how the atmosphere would improve in the evening to become magic.

Definitely a place...

One of the only times in my life that I put a Google restaurant review. But for the sake of potential customers I have to do it because 4.6 rating is not possible. It’s worthy of a kitchen nightmare.

Extremely welcoming staff, nothing to say about that and that's where there is a real gap between the welcome and the meal.

Let's get down to business, the food is abominable. The fish is not fresh, too much salt which in my opinion is there to camouflage, in short a taste that I cannot even describe with a human being's palate.

Second chance we change the dish, it’s EVEN WORSE! To avoid absolutely, the worst thing is that no commercial gesture was made, the dish was still charged €22! What a shame.

1 star because 0 is not possible. Trust me if you're reading this, RUN AWAY. 😂🤣
