I once had the opportunity to read a book about the history of the creation of Fiat and the Agnelli family. I really enjoyed that book—it took me into a beautiful world and into the heart of the epic story of a family full of sophistication and entrepreneurial spirit. For me, Fiat represents energy and the refined taste of Italy. An Italy that moves forward!
I started from the center of Turin and made my way to the Fiat Museum, which is located a bit outside the city. This allowed me to discover a part of Turin that is just as interesting—less touristic but just as deeply Italian. I imagined a neighborhood where the heart of an empire once beat. An empire that has contributed—and still contributes—a great deal to making the country proud and the society greater.
The museum is fairly small, but the visit is absolutely worth it and it has its own charm. Throughout the museum, you follow the journey of Fiat, and you can also see many impressive Fiat cars on display. You can see the very first models as well as the most recent ones. I noticed that all of the cars, even the oldest, displayed rare aesthetics and quality. I also imagined the hard, meticulous, and strategic work that must have gone into building this company, generation after generation. Fiat has been the destiny of thousands of workers and millions of consumers.
When I go to Turin, I feel a kind of nostalgia—and Fiat gives me that nostalgia, a beautiful one.

Read moreWe had combined tickets with MAUTO and went here after visiting MAUTO. I am a huge FIAT fan, but I felt slightly disappointed with this museum. That, however, is very subjective. Taking into account that the building itself is an important heritage site and that the exhibits are focused on all of the company's many projects and products, it is unreasonable to expect just the cars. In fact, after visiting Heritage Hub a few days later, we were told there that there isn't one museum which showcases FIAT autombiles completeley through each period. Having said that, it is clear why this place is called Historic Centre and not museum. One thing I trully enjoyed was the aviation section, the different ad prints through the ages and the original wooden Topolino mould. It pays off to visit it, especially for the price, but don't expect a...
