Small sento that serves the local community, hot healing hot spring water. Soap and small towel rental is perfect for my short stay. Let the locals enjoy their time, it has everything I needed, so I was mindful of the time for locals to bathe. Facilities are small. Small baths, 7 showers for women's area. Small change rooms. Very clean. The highlight is the quality of the water. I enjoyed it very much. Just be aware of peak times for locals.
For foreigners - please read up on sento, onsen rules before using these very local communal baths. Please wash thoroughly before entering the clean bath water. Please take special care and attention to your feet (yes, every toe, in between your toes). Spend more than 5 minutes scrubbing with soap and small towel, please. At least 8 minutes of self-care cleaning every area and rinsing off all soap from yourself and the small towel. Take your time, enjoy the ritual - Hammam, onsen, sento, sauna, jimjilbang - all these rules make sense for the community care of this shared space, so please read up about it.
Clean your shower area, bucket and seat before returning everything to its place. Let's try to leave the place the same or better than when we entered.
Our experience as travellers should help support the cleanliness of the community bath.
In the bathwater: Please also ensure you tie up your hair, so no hair enters the bath. Keep the little towel out of the water. Soak and enjoy the healing hot spring water.

Yes it's a small towel but it works really well to wipe off water before you go back into the room! If your hair is long, suggest you do not wash it as you will need a bigger towel to dry your hair.
Please immerse yourself in sento and Onsen rules before visiting and you will enjoy the self-care ritual and community spirit that is so unique to Japan. Be proactive with Google translate so you can learn and take ownership on your...
