We visited Enoshima in November 2025. The abyss is on the opposite side of the bridge and it takes around 1 hour to go all the way from the bridge to the abyss. It seems there is also a boat directly from the bridge to the abyss, but when we were there the boat service was not working due to weather related reasons. The island of Enoshima is nice bad can be visited for around half a day, either before or after Kamakura. Be prepared to walk a lot and enjoy all the sightseeing in the island. The walk there isn’t for the faint of hear but let me tell you; it is SO worth it. Absolutely unreal.
