If you have not tried Japanese sweets, this could be the one for you to try. They do not offer those sweets that you might see in Kyoto, but anything you see here is deeply printed in 60s - 70s Japanese DNA. Black paste thingy is called Anko which is made of beans and sugar and Anko is crucial element for Japanese sweets. Also this might not sound very Japanese but dip a chunk of ice cream on top of coca-cola is one of the typical way to enjoy sugar...

Really cute and classic Japanese sweets experience. I loved the interior, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. The anmitsu with matcha ice cream was delicious and came with a variety of fruits. They also sell adorable cat postcards. Apparently, there are lots of cats on the island, but on this particular day, I only saw one hiding in the hydrangea bushes just across from this...

Amazing location, very welcoming staff. Great place to stop by and rest your legs. During the summer great place to cool off and during the winter time great place to warm up with a nice drink for any season. They have a restroom, they take cash only, and the prices are very normal. Will definitely come back when I visit again. Make time to stop by if you're...

Walk in and tell them how many people you have in your party. There is no English menu but Google Translate can handle it well. You can easily point at what you want instead of trying to say it. It's a dessert shop, so expect only sweets. You'll get the ticket when you get your order. You pay at the center near the kitchen. Cash only.

We picked this place for some dessert after a walk around the island. The atmosphere of this place was really nice and calming. We sat outside because it was a warm day. We had the matcha set and Kanten. Both were really good. We also had a Tanuki come and visit!
