🤎 We had a tremendously lovely lunch at 鱼见亭 restaurant at Enoshima hill cliff top. 😅 Had to climb lots of stairways for this eatery.
🟫 It is situated at top of cliff overlooking the ocean side, and on a very clear day, you can view Mount Fuji. 🟧 On that day when we went there, the air was very foggy and hot and so sadly, I couldn't see Mt Fuji.
🟦 But the shirasu rice-ron was truly delicious.✳️ I must tell you, the shirasu or small white bait fish we eat here was fished in the morning and brought here by boats to the eatery itself that day.
🟩 So the shirasu dish was so naturally delicious in its own. 🔵 You pour just a bit of light soy sauce on the tiny fishes and eat it with rice. 🤎The white bait fishes were like jelly, super fresh and smooth, and it simply slips down your throat.
● The tempura was crispy and fresh too. I highly recommend this eatery. ✔️ It is worth the hard...
Read moreThis restaurant was profiled in a YouTube episode from the content creators ( TOKYO CHEAPO ) entitled ( Enoshima Island: A Refreshing Day Trip from Tokyo ). There were two options for seating, regular or outside veranda. Our group opted for the veranda with a commanding view of the ocean. We had to take a number and wait arouond 15/min but the are you are waiting outside is shaded. The service once seated was quick and out meals also arrived quickly. My order was for ( Sazae Horned Turban Shell Snails ) which was prepared like katsudon with the snail meat cut into smaller chunks on top. It was ok but not great, it could have included a lemmon wedge which could have brought out the flavor. You could not be disappointed with the view when having your meal. I would recommend this stop on you walk on...

The seafood is delicious! Definitely recommend the squid set. It comes with rice miso soup. I got the special that came with scallop and a kind of sea snail. Also had the local Enoshima beer. It was good!
Atmosphere is very chill. The staff speaks a little bit of English and was very helpful.
Be warned, when I was here in June 2023, they DID NOT take credit card. So make sure you have CASH. They also accept pay-pay (but I don't use that). Maybe in the future they will accept credit card? But for now, make sure you have cash. As there are no ATMs nearby.
Great restaurant! I'll definitely...
