Ebisuya — Hotel in Fujisawa

The location is excellent and the staff at the front desk were very helpful. They don't mind keeping your luggage before you check-in and after you check-out. This allows you to enjoy the beach before you check-in, and allows you to explore the island after you check-out.

The room was clean with a good view. The TV's reception was very bad, barely watchable, and the spare pillows had stains on them. The bathroom and toilet were large and clean. They had all the toiletries that you need.

The food was average. Almost not enough for dinner, but the complimentary bottle of Moet Chandon made dinner much better. (ANNIVERSARY PLAN) The tomato pudding for dessert was disgusting.

This is a famous old ryokan where many prominent people have stayed. Unfortunately, it is showing its age. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Our room was large and had a nice sitting area next to the windows overlooking the water/beach. The room’s condition was fairly nice but needs refreshing in some areas. It was nice to have a toilet and shower/bath in the room, but they were extremely small and basic. Our dinner and breakfast were served in our room, and the selection and taste were fine. Finally, however, the halls and public bath were really showing their age and are in desperate need of repair, and other areas simply need refreshing.
