We did the Himekawa river rafting tour in late August with Lion Adventures. They are amazing hosts and we had one of the best experiences of our holiday. They were extremely accomodating, friendly, and skillful guides. Liam, in particular, was our guide and made the experience fantastic. Even though the water levels in the river were low (normal for this time of the year) we still had a blast. Thank you Lion Adventures! Would highly recommend.

Good place to experience riding a snowmobile in hakuba during a sunny day on the slopes where you are taking a break from ski/snowboarding. Was expecting the tour to bring us to more scenic location along the hakuba alps however, most part of the ride is lapping around the park opposite hakuba 47. Nonetheless, some beautiful scenic photo can still be taken. Note: do expect chopping ride on the snowmobile if the tracks are not fresh.

We were a family of 7 on Christmas Morning 2024. We had an Aussie guide who was Amazing, sorry I can’t recall his name!! We had such a great time we all thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely do it again. We had three tandems and one single rider and had the opportunity to swap drivers so everybody could have a go. Highly recommend this activity we absolutely loved it!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great burgers at the cafe too

We will give no star if possible. We just finished our snowmobile tour today in the afternoon and was extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. The tour is supposed to be 1hr, including 10mins introduction and training plus 50 mins ride, but actually is less than hour one in total, out of which 10mins was spent on scattering helmets (which is included in the tour time) to the group and 10 more mins for the training (which is okay) and the ride is about 30mins only. The road condition was so bad (rough and extremely bumpy), the organizer said they suffered for by the lack of snow situation, but our point is if there is not enough snow, they should not offer the tour. They are responsible to offer a satisfactory tour. The tour is not worthwhile at all and the staff in the centre is not helpful...

Just completed the snow mobile tour last week, do not recommend to anyone. The ride was for one hour but at best we got 40 minutes including the training. The trail was extremely rough and bumpy, you could not go more than idle speed and was very uncomfortable, not to mention boring. I over heard the staff say "this is the last group so let's not take them on the tour just take them to a small open area that they can ride in circles for 20 minutes" The trail needs to be groomed or the customers need to be warned that it's very slow and bumpy. Not value for money, clearly the staff wanted to finish for the day so didn't provide the full experience. This was after a full dump of powder so no excuses...

We had an incredible snowshoeing experience today with Lion Adventure. It snowed 40cm last night and it was impossible to get to / from to the shop. The team (Chad + Jack) kindly provided pick up and drop off. Shui Jing, the Chinese intern, kindly helped us with set up and various tasks. Our tour guide Jack is five star and is extremely helpful to us especially since we are trekking with our almost 60 year old mom. Heartfelt gratitude to the entire team. We would definitely come back for another snowshoeing...
