Funaya Kura is beautifully and artistically designed with combinations of wood and tile and exquisite lighting. It looks like a place that would be featured in an architectural magazine or win design awards. The parking area was very convenient. There are two bathrooms and a large spa area with a rain shower and soaking tubs with ocean views. There is also a sauna. The inn provides many amenities including loungewear/pajamas. My favorite thing to do was sit on the chaise in the living area and watch the fishing boats pass by through the large window. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We also walked to the main part of town and took a boat ride, explored the shops, and enjoyed dinner. There were bikes available to borrow or electric scooters for rent using an app in the center of town. I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon this gem of an inn. Ine is a special place and Funaya Kura was a perfect spot to appreciate its peacefulness and beauty.
