Kurashiki Momoko — Restaurant in Kurashiki

One of the worst experience I have ever had in Japan. The young female receptionist’s service is very bad. After I got seated with my families, without given a menu, while we were choosing our food in my mobile phone. (Since I don’t read Japanese , I took a pic of the menu at the reception and sent the pic to my families ), we were asked twice we need to order first before I can continue to sit. (From the moment I go seated and I was asked twice to order first, it was without 3mins). Before I got seated, I know min. Requirement is one order per person which is reasonable since it’s located at a scenery spot. When I order , I order 2 parfaits, 1 tart, 1 cake for 4 of us, the reception said if I order 1 tart, it is not considered as 1 order. Instead I need to order 3 tarts to considered as 1 order. Similarly i was asked to order 2 cakes to be considered as 1 order. None of these rule was mentioned nor publicly shown outside. It’s a nightmare and i will never come again. いざ美観地区🏃‍♂️💨💨💨

正直なところ岡山駅来る度に 美観地区に来てるから あんまり新しい感動もなく😩😩😩

散歩がてらに散策をするも… 全部回る前に 「もうええか？回らんでも」 となって、お土産を買いながら

小腹も空いたからてことで…

「ここに来たら食べる‼️」 と決めていたらしい 嫁さんたっての希望スイーツへ

おっさんだけやったら 絶対入れへんし‼️ 入られへんお店‼️（笑）

その名も 「くらしき桃子」総本店‼️

名前からしておっさんは 入りにくいやろちゅーねん‼️（笑）

お目当ての店に行き 先ずは一階のキャッシャーで 会＆計‼️と注の文‼️

メニューの名前が長過ぎて 覚えてへんねんけど…(ごめん🙏)

嫁さんが「柿沼のやつ」‼️ おいどん「洋梨のやつ」‼️（笑） を注の文して2回席へ

一階席もあるけど既に スイーツ女子で満席🈵

2階席も既にスイーツ女子で満席状態‼️

スイーツ女子に囲まれながら 待つ事数分…

流石‼️かっぱと違って待たせない（笑）

提供のスピードは💮💮💮💮💮

まずテーブルに運ばれてきたのは 「洋梨のパフェ」(仮名)🤣

運ばれきた瞬間… 思わず口から👄 「かーわーいーいぃぃ❤️」って 言いそうになるのを我慢

隣の席のスイーツ女子の視線が… 「このおっさん、何頼んだんや？」 といったところだろう…👀 👀 👁 👁

ここは視線も気になるが… 皆んなに、ここのパフェの 素晴らしさを伝えたい一心で

思わず「可愛い」を言ってまう このフォルム‼️ 洋梨を丸ごと一個使ったパフェ やねんけど…

口に入れた瞬間洋梨の香りと 糖度なんぼやねん‼️言うくらいの 甘さが口の中いっぱいに広がって 鼻から抜ける洋梨の香り❤️

洋梨のジュースにダイブしたんか？ 鼻の穴に洋梨の欠片詰めてるのか？ と思うくらい凄い‼️

美味い‼️美味い‼️美味〜い‼️

食べ進めていくと 下の方にあるアイスクリーム？

なんじゃこれ〜？ 美味い‼️美味い‼️美味〜い‼️ 紅茶ベースの味で 洋梨と相性抜＆群‼️

世のスイーツ好きのおっさん達へ…

意を決してチャレンジして下さい 普段は恥ずかしくてなかなか入れない こんなふうに思ってませんか？ 一歩前へ‼️ そこにはまだ見ぬ世界がある 映えばかりではなく えらい美味いスイーツがあるんだ〜✊

Definitely a dessert cafe catered mostly to tourists and their moolah. Way too pricey for what you get. Plus there's a minimum order of a dessert and a drink for each person so be prepared to pay for the pleasure of dining in this cafe. The food was good but not great. The fruits were fine, but no finer than fruit bought from any local supermarket.
