Certainly! Here’s a well-crafted review for the Samurai & Ninja Experience in Kyoto:

Unforgettable Samurai & Ninja Experience in Kyoto!

If you’re visiting Kyoto and looking for a unique and immersive cultural experience, the Samurai & Ninja Experience is a must-do! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported back to Japan’s feudal era, where you can channel your inner warrior and learn about the fascinating history of samurai and ninja.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, providing detailed explanations of samurai traditions, weapons, and the philosophy behind their code of honor. The hands-on activities were the highlight of the experience—dressing in authentic samurai armor, learning proper sword techniques, and even practicing ninja skills like throwing shuriken (ninja stars). The instructors were patient and made sure everyone had fun while also respecting the historical significance of these warriors.

The setting itself adds to the authenticity, with a beautifully designed dojo that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a samurai training hall. Whether you’re a history buff, a martial arts enthusiast, or just looking for an unforgettable cultural adventure, this experience is perfect for all ages.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto—it’s an experience you won’t forget!

So fun, worth the experience! Taku was a great instructor, perfect English so was easy to communicate and ask questions. Was worried about separate location but it is actually an awesome area. Located down a cool covered mall strip. We went to experience first then walked through shops on the strip that actually connected directly to Nishiki market, walked trough the market made a right and the museum was on the right 2 streets up. Prefect afternoon because it was easy to make our way. Taku was also very kind and engaging with our 5 year old son, we thought the experience might be to old for him, but Taku made it so fun for him....

Our Ninja host had no idea what he was doing, the concept is fun but the experience was just scattered. We did show up late to the experience so we had to skip the thing you shoot out of our mouth. All we did was dress up in a robe and a head band, throw some stars at a foam wall without any explanation on history or how it works. I would just do the tour of the museum that includes the ninja stars.

Replying to the comment- We were ok to miss the one event because we were late that was not the issue. The host was clueless and the experience was definitely not good. All we did was were some costumes and threw stars...

What an incredibly fun time!! We did the samurai experience and the ninja experience and the staff were absolutely amazing and made this whole experience so unforgettable. Their English is great, their teaching is great, and it's a super fun and active packed time. There was also a lot of great info and history built into the experiences which I really appreciated! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine feeling samurai experience!

Both the Ninja classes and the Samurai classes were both good in different ways! From what I experienced in the Ninja classes, it was very family friendly and a lot of fun for everyone with a very friendly instructor. The Samurai classes on the other hand is different geared for an older audience, going through what felt like a proper beginner class for using the katana and etiquette which was great! Definitely recommend going again.
