Lets be honest, Japanese are generally polite and respectful however the waitress in this restaurant (presumably a non japanese look alike of Indian Nationalisties) were simply disgusting and disrespectful.
For a start, the place was almost empty and we had bags which I asked if ok for us to sit on a table of four instead of 2, and was rejected. Throughout our dining, the restaurant remain half empty.
When paying the bill, the non japanese look alike "waitress + cook" with oily hands gave me back my change (notes and coins) in oily condition. Not just small oil but big mess of oil. When I show my expression of disgusted over the oily change, she gave the death stare like saying "get lost you tourist".. of course i did after using their tissues on the table to clean the oily change and throw the tissue like a garbage on the table as I felt so pissed with such a lousy service for this place.

If you’re a fan of fresh seafood, this place is an absolute gem. The uni (sea urchin) and kurīmu (creamy sea urchin pasta or “kuri” if you’re referring to chestnut dishes) were outstanding—some of the best I’ve ever had, bursting with flavor and impossibly fresh.
The raw oysters were perfectly chilled, briny, and impeccably clean, clearly sourced with care. Each bite reminded me why I love seafood.
What really made the experience memorable, though, was the chef’s skill—everything is cooked with precision, respect for the ingredients, and a clear mastery of technique. You can taste the passion and craftsmanship in every dish.
The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the staff are warm and welcoming. If you’re in the area and craving a next-level seafood experience, Ryoushi Goya is a must-visit.
I’ll be dreaming of that uni until my next trip...

The outside of the restaurant looks like another grilled seafood vendor but there’s seats inside and it’s literally seats made of stacked crates, haha! You can’t really have a bad sashimi meal in Japan I feel and the seafood bowls did not disappoint. My son felt like Japanese salmon tasted differently to that of Australian salmon, which he preferred the latter.
Tempura was not recommended as we’ve had better elsewhere, probably not...
