An absolute must if you're in Okinawa and love beautifully presented, delicious food. This is omakase-style, so you don’t choose the dishes — which I love. The chef trained in Japan and Spain, and the menu is a perfect fusion of Japanese and European flavors using local, seasonal ingredients.
It was truly one of my favorite meals ever — right up there with The French Laundry and Mosaic in Ubud.
The staff were incredibly kind, providing an English menu and explaining each dish in English. The restaurant is very small, and everyone is served at once, so make a reservation and be on time.
I called the day of and was lucky to get a seat at the counter — the best spot to watch the dishes being plated. The online booking system is through a third party and a bit tricky, so I recommend calling directly. Yes it’s expensive, but we would easily pay that amount for a piece of art & not even think twice about it, this is a food experience performed by an artist.
