Comfort Hotel Narita — Attraction in Narita

Square footage is small as to be expected in Japan but the layout of the rooms are good, allowing you adequate space to open up and lay flat even large suitcases. The tub/shower is an adequate size in that you can turn without touching the walls and the curtains do not attract to you while showering (if you know, you know). The rest of the bathroom itself is small and my least favorite is the placement of the bulky toilet paper dispenser which is often in the way. My only other real dislike of the room is that it lacks a closet and I wouldn't mind if they compensated by adding more hooks or hanging space on the empty walls available. Otherwise, it's a nice space that feels clean, the most important component for me, which also applies to other spaces such as their dining area on the 2nd floor. If you choose not to have your room cleaned, staff leave a bag full of fresh towels hanging on the door for you to use.

In terma of the bed, the mattress is softer and more comfortable compared to other places I've stayed but the pillows are flat.

Breakfast is included at this hotel and I was honestly very impressed with the selection. It's not your traditional western breakfast that I'm used to, though there were mini sausages, eggs (nice and runny scrambled eggs!), cereal, and pastries (e.g. croissants chocolate danishes, toast). They also included things such as miso soup, chicken, rice, salad bar, and even smoothies! At other times of the day, there is lemon water alongside a tea of the day. Tea bags are also provided and the coffee machine is also available at all hours.

Location is close to two Lawson's for convenience and is within walking distance to other spots and/or the subway and bus stations.

Location: Great!3 min walk from Keisei Narita Train Station. 7 min walk from JR Narita Station. Do note those 2 stations are separate and are of different train companies those they are close by each other.Several major bus stops/terminals are outside the 2 train stations. The hotel provided clear, easy-to-follow maps for bus stops, restaurants, supermarkets etc.Yaoko supermarket and pharmacy is an easy 6 min walk away. AEON Town Tomisato is 9 min walk (do note the bigger AEON Mall Narita is further away, requiring a short bus ride on Bus Line 6 from Bus Stop located between Keisei Narita and JR Narita stations).Room: Economy Double. Average Tokyo non-premium standard. Clean. Equipped with kettle, proper mugs and glasses.Breakfast: Included. Simple but totally serviceable. Espresso coffee machine for coffee. Good variety of teas. Couple of choices of juice, smoothies. 4-5 hot dishes. Soups. Milk bread, danish, waffles. Cereals.Added bonus: Espresso coffee, regular coffee, teas available in the lobby round the clock.Minus: 1. The main entrance is underwhelming and feels a little shabby while front desk is on level 2.2. Centrally located to Keisei and JR Rail Stations. Numerous grocery stores (Aeon & Yaoko), convince stores (Lawson, 7/11) are close by. We had to visit a pharmacy for COVID testing and it was next to Yaoko Grocery. The rooms are small and we shared a double bed in the corner. It's pretty basic but we love the fact that you can open the window for fresh air. The heat is on because its still chilly in Japan but we run hot! The breakfast (06:00-0900) is wonderful serving eggs, fruits, rice, miso and a chicken dish with sauces like rosemary or tomato. The best is the coffee machine. Espresso, americano and all free and available will 23:00. When you leave the hotel walk to WonderRex for good deal on second hand stuff. You'll pass a home building market where you can tour Japanese homes. For more adventures...take the Keisei line to KS39 Kōzunomori Station where you can shop for deals. Walk about 30 mins using maps to find OffHouse in Tomisato where you can dig for deals more previously love merchandise. Take a look a Beisha a large grocery store and Joyful Honda a Costco like place. Top it off with lunch at CoCo Ichibanya. A curry house that will blow your mind and bring up your blood pressure. All levels of spice and heat! Be careful.... dishes can come hot...
