Yumoto Sagiriyu onsen — Attraction in Noboribetsu

Cheap local style onsen and literally right next to the bus terminal. 5 indoor baths, of which two are a grey cloudy water, as well as a sauna. No towels, soap or shampoo provided but available for sale ( no rental). Bring your own small towel if you can. Less than 500 yen for an adult. Staff speak enough English to explain the vending machine options, right side top row right-most (1100 yen) is the package with towel, soap, shampoo and the lot. An amazing onsen! To get there I took the train from Sapporo station followed by a bus and then walked uphill to the hotel. Same for the way back. The facilities are second to none. A huge indoor and outdoor area. The outdoor area has one massive pool which was great to relax. Indoors had a dozen pools. My favorite part were the steam and sauna. 2024年11月16日 再訪 今月から490円→500円と10円upでした。 2024年9月14日 テレビ東京の土曜スペシャル「大久保·川村の温泉タオル集めの旅 第14弾 北海道三大温泉制覇SP」でここに来てたことを思い出し、「そう言えばここの温泉タオル、買っちゃおう！」と、再訪しました。タオルの画像を後ろの方に追加しときます(乾いたままの状態と濡らして絞った状態の2パターン)。 タオル買う時に受付にいたおじさんに「テレビ来てましたね、大久保(オアシズ、大久保佳代子)さんと川村(たんぽぽ、川村エミコ)さん」と話し掛けると「テレビ見ないからわからない」とのことでした。 あと、硫黄の臭いが薄くなってませんか？と尋ねると「湯の花が多く沈澱してると臭いも強くなるけど、最近は"泥がたまってて掃除が行き届いてない。不衛生である"とか、販売している湯の花も"泥を売ってる"というクレームが多い」とのことでした。正しく理解されていないと残念な気持ちになってしまいたした。私はこれからもこの温泉をリピートします。 ちなみに今回はさぎり湯の駐車場が満車だったので、600mほど離れた「地獄谷駐車場(1日停めてても500円)」に入れてしまいました(この温泉までの行き帰りは軽い散歩がてらと考え、ついでに地獄谷や商店街である極楽通を見られるならそんなにコスパは悪くないと思います) 2024年3月24日 訪問...
