NUT ALLERGENS BEWARE!
The location and view were so great. I was impressed with the venue. Albeit there are a ton of options, the food was additionally quite tasty...until I reached for some dessert.
I went over to the dessert section to find an item that look like it suspiciously had nuts in it. I asked the waiter and they didn't know. Eventually they talked to the chef and found out it did indeed have almonds in it...
The allergy labels should be more detailed. Specifically nuts. I was informed that they do not have to label certain nuts, including almonds. They just labeled walnuts. This is apparently a more common allergy for Japanese people. I would like to state as a foreigner, it is a little different.
A better way to label nut allergies is to divide it into "peanuts" and "tree-nuts". Most people are allergic to one or both. I am thankful that I was cautious and asked before eating as this allergy is deadly for not only me, but other people as well.
Since this restaurant and hotel is more common for foreigners (all the food was labeled in English too), I recommend changing the allergy labels to be more foreign friendly.
Additionally, the pizza making section is a little disorganized. This section is organized by placing a small stick with your table number on it into a jar facing whichever dish you want, in my case, a Margherita pizza. I placed my table number stick into the jar and waited over 25 minutes. I thought maybe this furnaced style pizza was taking so long because it's specially cooked. But no. I decided to ask someone and somehow it was misplaced and they had to make another one.
Overall, I don't think it's worth the price you pay for the service and food...

I visited ライブキッチン COOKA for a family birthday dinner, but the experience was highly disappointing due to unprofessional service and inaccurate closing time information. The website and Google Maps indicate a 10:00 PM closing time, and we understood the buffet food serving time ends at 9:30 PM, which seems reasonable. However, at 9:40 PM, after finishing our buffet meal and asking the staff to light the candles on our paid birthday cake, a staff member was shockingly rude. He reluctantly lit the candles and repeatedly demanded we leave within three minutes, claiming the restaurant was closed. This ruined our special celebration, leaving us unable to enjoy the cake we paid for.
If the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM, it’s unreasonable for the buffet food serving time to end at the same time, as it leaves no time for guests to finish their meals comfortably. The official website’s 10:00 PM closing time is misleading and needs correction. This unprofessional behavior and poor management are unacceptable for a Marriott-affiliated restaurant. I strongly discourage others from dining here and will not pay for such poor service again. I feel upset to have chose this restaurant to celebrate this...
Read moreCame here for dinner with a friend for our last girls’ night before she left Osaka. I really regret choosing this place for that!
Firstly, it was supposed to be a two-hour course. It took over three hours because the service was so slow. (There were plenty of staff, and the place wasn’t even busy. Really seemed to be no excuse here!)
I had to practically beg for our dessert to be brought out. That said, the dessert was the best part! The salad was a pitiful collection of vegetables, not a salad. The cheese platter was equally sad. The wagyu beef was so tough I couldn’t cut it with a knife.
Overall, just an unpleasant experience, and we paid over $100 a person for that privilege. If it’s nice dining with a view you’re after, I’d recommend sticking...
