A relaxing place to have a late morning walk or light exercise before an early delicious lunch at either of the two Michelin Star restaurants (1 Chome-16-12) that are only 3 minutes walking distance away on the southern side of the East garden .

靱公園はバラ園が有名ですが四つ橋筋寄りの東園はベンチが幾つもあり、ゆっくり出来る場所。 平日はここで昼休憩をとる近隣オフィスの方々が多く、休日は家族連れで賑わいます。 四つ橋筋に飲食店が多くテイクアウトの種類も多いので外が気持ちの良い季節は最高です☺️ 靱公園にゴミ箱は無いのでゴミは持ち帰りです。 四つ橋筋からから入って東園を抜けてなにわ筋へ出る歩道はジョギングや犬の散歩をされる方も多く、 都会のオアシス、大阪のセントラルパークです😆

終戦後、駐留米国軍の飛行場として利用され、その後返還を期に公園と整備され更に四ツ橋筋の開通で東西分断と成るも長く伸びた公園になっています。

西園のスポーツコーナーと違い東園は手入れされた花々があり落ち着いた空間です。

ただ、此の地で夢半ばで終焉を迎えた、大塩平八郎を現代の政治腐敗を正すべく再び目覚めさせずにいてくださいよ。
