Location was great, either 10 mins walk to Hommachi or Yodobashi station. Bakery, coffee shops, convenience stores , restaurants are near by! It was a nice walk in the morning to the station or back after a long day.
Stayed for a week with my parents and sister (4 adults) in a room with two Queen beds. At first when we got there, we were stunned how small the room was, but we got use to it and quite enjoyed the room itself. Its small , but really a place to go back to sleep. Very limit of space for luggage, so be smart with that.
Restaurant and Laundry on the main floor . Two laundry machine available. It gets used often, but still manageable to wash every other day, as machines are small.
Front Desk Staff was Amazing - they go above and beyond to try and help you! I asked so many questions about random stuff and they were so kind and helpful. One of the staff member even called the other hotel at our next destination to get an answer fro us. --5 stars for customer service!!!
Housekeeping can improve a little, there were hair found in our cleaned towel and bed when we checked in , not the end of the world. Their garbage cans are small and they should have another small one in the washroom. Washroom vent is not strong enough, as it can get really hot inside during shower and a slight mildew smell, but manageable.
Overall a great location, great staff and decent room, I would...
Read moreIt's my second trip to Osaka and I chose to stay again in Hotel Androoms. The location is quite convenient. The Hommachi station is just 5 minutes walk and for me,it's somehow centralized since you can either go to Namba side or Shin Osaka side. Once you're in a subway you'll be connected to any places of Osaka. There's also convenient stores nearby ( Mini stop , Family Mart, and 7/11). There's no buffet breakfast here, it's an ala carte French cuisine which you need to order the night before. The rooms are somehow quite spacious ( comparing to rooms I've stayed in Europe). It's clean and they do have a mini fridge, kettle and toiletries are supplied but water bottle are not. Bed are also comfy to sleep, I am quite tall and my feet are not dangling etc. they also do provide some night clothing and room deodorizer. Don't expect to have a city view etc. Since I am always out, I don't really care about that. Also, it is quiet at night which is really helpful when you're tired and just wanted to get a good rest. Moreover, there is an ATM downstairs along with a vending machine for drinks and also a coin operated washing machine where you can do laundry. I recommend this hotel and if in any case I'll go back to Osaka, I will still...
Read moreStayed here with my family of 4 including myself for 4 nights. The room (a superior twin room) itself would appear small but the wooden platform used to elevate the bed does help with adding more sitting space in the room and if nothing else, the room felt cozy. Said room was clean and had the assortment of toiletries and sleeping gown, though lacking in a couple of features such as closet and safe (though likely due to the room's size). ||||The location however is well worth the cost due to being a short walking distance from Hommachi Station while being close to various options for dining (including the hotel's own Italian restaurant). In addition due to the hotel being located away from the main road, it can be rather quiet which is good especially if you are tired from a long day out,||||Take note that many taxi drivers may not be fully aware of the exact location of the hotel so getting the hotel address would be useful for people using taxi to reach the hotel.||||Overall while I feel that there can be improvements to be made, I would recommend this hotel for people who want for a quiet place to stay that is not too far from the attractions of Osaka. I would consider staying here again if I ever visit...
