City Route Hotel — Hotel in Osaka

City Route Hotel is very close to a lot of stations (Blue and Green line!) and a 7/11 and Family Mart. Japanese hotels are very limited on space unlike American hotels, which is fine, but please be aware that if you are 5'9 +, then using the restroom to shower and the bathroom to sit on the toilet are going to be challenging. I'm 5'11. And I couldn't close the door and use the toilet without my knees interfering. And showering was complicated because I was an inch or two away from the ceiling so I had to hunch over to wash myself. ||Other than that the staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast is very nice—I love Japanese food, so whoever is complaining about them not having an "American/Western" enough palate ... like what did you come to Japan to just eat at McDonalds and KFC every day? They have eggs and croissants. ||Overall hotel is convenient but probably not for...

I really enjoyed my stay there. They do very nice breakfasts. With plenty of different things to try. |The staff are so nice, one young lady actually apologised for the airline losing my bags and kept me updated until my bag was found. They have a smoking area inside the hotel with an extractor. As well as a vending machine with beer and cigarettes and normal drinks. ||The area is noisy, lots of police car's driving round at all hours, but that's not the hotels fault, and it never disturbed my sleep. The TV in room is big and large, the room cleaners are professional, and every member of staff was kind and respectful. ||The 7-11 right next door is great as well, and I think really adds to your stay as you can buy pretty much everything, and because there is a microwave in the hotel lobby you can heat your food and eat there or in your room. 5 stars because I...
