Yasui Shrine — Attraction in Osaka

I visited Yasui Shrine in September 2024, and it was a delightful, unplanned discovery during my trip. While it may not be one of the most famous shrines in Japan, it has a quiet charm that makes it worth a visit if you’re in the area.

The shrine is beautifully maintained, with clean and serene surroundings that immediately make you feel calm and at peace. It’s not a crowded spot, which allows you to truly enjoy the tranquil atmosphere without the hustle and bustle of larger tourist attractions.

Walking through the shrine grounds, I was struck by the sense of history and simplicity. The ambiance is perfect for those who want a moment of reflection or just a peaceful place to take a break from their travels. The architecture and design of the shrine, while modest, exude an understated beauty that adds to its appeal.

Although Yasui Shrine may not be a “must-visit” destination, I would highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates quieter, less touristy spots. It’s an ideal location for travelers looking to experience a more serene and authentic side of Japanese culture.

こちらは大阪松屋町筋の終点付近にあり、一心寺の道はさんで向かえ側にあります。四天王寺からもすぐ近くの徒歩圏内です。8時？～16時迄参拝できます。こちらの神社は門が有り、16時で閉まりますので皆さん必ず16時迄に行って下さいね。駐車場はありません。こちらの神社は真田幸村公、終焉の地で有名でもあります。大阪夏の陣で茶臼山(安居神社よりすぐ近く)徳川家康の本陣めがけて最後の特攻を仕掛け、徳川家康の馬印が倒れる位奮戦しましたが、あと一歩の所で力つき安居神社境内の松の木の下で休んでいた所で敵に見つかりこの地で討ち取られた歴史的価値、由緒ある神社です。その時の松の木も境内にありその前には10年位前に真田幸村公の銅像も有志の方々の寄附によって立っております。私は真田幸村公ファンで昔からこの神社にお参りにちょくちょく来ていた時に、銅像設立(前は木の案内立て札のみ)寄附募集しているのを知り、ほんの少しばかりですが寄付さして頂きました。今はNHKの真田丸(この時は真田丸ブームで参拝者の人々がかなり増えていました。真田丸の終わりにいつも紹介されていた為)にてかなり有名になりました。それまではひっそりとした神社でした。 また幸村公銅像にお手を触れると良い事がある等パワースポットとしても有名であります。歴史ファンの方、戦国時代ファンの方、パワースポット好きの方、必見の神社だと思います。場所的にも大阪市内のど真ん中位にあるために交通アクセスもいいですよ。久しぶりにお参りさして頂...
