Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I understand that in Japan it's customary to sit on the floor, but there weren't even cushions to sit on. It's two single mattresses on the floor and one tiny coffee table that you basically have to put all of your stuff on if you don't want to squat or bend down every time you need something. The remote control to the TV was missing its back piece and the batteries that kept falling out were dead. In the bathroom there was no shower curtain. ... Why? That is such a basic, cheap/low cost thing to provide in every bathroom so the floor in there doesn't get wet. We had to clip our raincoat and use that as our shower curtain. There was no trash bin in the bathroom for women's discarded sanitary items. We had to put it in our regular trash outside of the bathroom. It's the little things. It wasn't a comfortable stay and they don't seem to care to provide it. Here's a floor and water from a tap. I can't recommend this...

If there were decent neghbours, maybe the price would've been okay, but since there is noone in the reception, guests can basically do what they want. Reception is empty 24/7 and front door always unlocked, so leaving your bags there, as they advise you too?...
