Read moreImpressive Temple You can see the top of the temple from far a field and the closer you get the more impressive it gets.
There's quite a few buildings within the temple area to visit including a terrapin pond showing hundreds of turpins in two different areas.
The main temple charges 300 yen to get in but the rest is free to visit.
Recommendation Well worth an hour walking around the grounds.
