I was walking back to my Airbnb from visiting Abeno Harukas and Shin Sekai (tourist trap alert!) and was looking for a close by open restaurant for dinner. Once again Google Maps to the rescue! I found this fantastic udon restaurant open and this was one of the best meals I had during my 9 day Japan trip. I ordered a simple chicken udon noodle soup and it was delicious. The broth was simple but so good and the noodles were cooked perfectly with a great texture. I love finding small mom & pop type restaurants like this!

The udon noodles were a bit soft but the broth was amazing and the price for everything was great. Staff is very friendly and there are English menus as well. There's bar seating, and tables for two and four people here. Highly recommend leaving the beaten path to find this place. It's worth it.

There's bar seating, and tables for two and four people here. Highly recommend leaving the beaten path to find this place. It's worth it.

found this place by accident when i was randomly walk around the place (read : i am lost). Really nice udon (come from someone who doesn't like udon) with nicely seasoned broth. For me the main star is the tonkatsu. Perfectly cooked, fine breaded, really good curry sauce and served with well cooked rice.

The cooking time is kinda long but that just proof that all of their foods are made by order to ensure the freshness.

Will be back again when i visit osaka. Cheers...
