Yahiko Shrine — Attraction in Sapporo

They have a quiet shrine close to Horohirabashi station. It is also near Gokoku Shrine, which sits on larger grounds and is generally well maintained. The goshuin 御朱印 from this shrine (Iyahiko) is questionable - the ¥1000 larger purple 御朱印 is a very low-resolution printout which is very disappointing. In comparison, the goshuin from Otaru’s Sumiyoshi shrine and Sapporo’s Gokoku right next door are much better; Gokoku’s 御朱印 office sells 4 shrines’ goshuin plus a few special ones that are larger and paper cutouts. the standard goshuin is ~¥500, and probably the most appropriate since it is similar to the standard ones from other shrines.

On 9/23 秋分の日、i visited this shrine on my morning walk but this time i can go to the shrine’s office (i am on off day) And get my 御朱印！the priests so friendly and directly written in my ご朱印帳。

今日、7月22日、11時頃に、参拝させていただきました。

何日も何度も道に迷いながら、 ようやく今日この場所がわかりました。

軽い言語障害(吃音症)があり、 吃音症を直したい、 あとは縁結びなどの内容を、 神様にお願いしに、 参拝にきました。

神社そのものの雰囲気は良かったのですが、

帰りに社務所で、 御朱印をいただこうと思い、 社務所に入ると、 若い男性職員が声をかけてくれたので、

私は、吃音症なので、 多少、吃りながら、言葉に詰まりながらも、

伝わりやすいように、 朱印帳を見せながら、

「御朱印をいただけますか」

と聞きました。

わたしは緊張していたので、 聞き取れないところまでは、 想像できても、

そのときの社務所の男性の返答が「はぁ？」でした。

いくらなんでも何様なんでしょうか。

「ききとれなくて、もう一度いいですか」

なら理解できるけど、

「はぁ？」 みたいな 「はい？」 みたいな非常に不愉快な反応でした。

わたし、あなたの友達じゃないんだけど、何様なのと、おもいました。

伝わるように、 御朱印帳みせながら言ってるんだから、 「はあ」とか「はい」とかじゃなくて、 「御朱印ですか？」とか「聞き取れなくて」とか他の言い方があったはずです。

そのあとは、 つたわったのですが 私は、その態度が許すことが出来ずに、

御朱印を、 結局うけとらずに、帰りました。

こんな気持ちで御朱印をいただいても 御朱印を見るたびに、つらくなると思ったのです。

あれだけ楽しみにしていて、 やっと見つけた神社で、

なにひとつ悪いことをしていない私が、 ハァと言われた意味がわかりません。

神社そのものは素敵だと思ったので、 残念です。

あれだけ楽しみにしていたのに、帰り際の道は涙を流しました。 そんな自分が惨めです。 悪気がなかったとはいえ、 言葉使いを教えたほうがいいと思います。
