Rairaikyo Gorge — Attraction in Sendai

You can see and feel of hot spring water on the way. This place has few people who come for visit so you can walk slowly and be relax. Recommand for the one who visit sendai for the 2nd time, live in japan or have plan to visit some other places near here. Not recommand for the one who grab flight ticket to come to japan since this place is so small and it feel so interesting only for the first 5 minites of the walk path, longer than this is not...

If you want a place out of the city you can come here and have a nice short walk along the gorge. There are little picnic areas along the trail. Also the onsen town of Akiu is small and quiet. This is a marvelous and magnificent place if you are visiting in Autumn. It will take at least 1 hour to complete the hiking along the way(up and down streams). PLEASE BE CAREFUL with the train and bus schedule if you start from Sendai.
